Not a disaster but not a stunning place to stay.

Location is the only thing going for this hotel.

Place is dated and lack of storage space and ammenities was evident as we had arrived from Japan. Pool and gym not opening earlier wasn’t that convenient.

Loved Singapore and the food. But disappointed. but hotel very dissatisfying with shopping . Not as I remember it 5 yea

reception staff not knowledgeable when we asked simple tourist questions. The room did not resemble the Booking.com description. first night didn’t have window was smallest room ever booked on Booking.com. 2nd room only marginally bigger. The bathroom door was same door as shower door. completely flooded after showers. We could not enter without sliding up inside next to toilet. worse bathroom ever even worse than camping grounds ablution blocks.

Pleasant

The view was great. Our window looked over the river. The location to the quays was good, with reasonable restaurants just downstairs. We also used the pool which was great to cool off.

The mattress quality was a bit springy and the room quite compact, however considering the price we paid it was reasonable for the location. A simple improvement could be more hooks in the bathroom for wet towels as there was limited places to hand the towels.

Disappointing stay

Location. Close to Rosso Vino restaurant and walking distance to Clarke Quay.

Very small room for 3 adults and 3 large bags. Stayed in room 911. It has a good view of the Singapore River but this room is in the shape of a pizza slice, one of the worst designs I have seen, with barely any space to move around. The spring beds have worn out and it was uncomfortable to sleep. No proper blanket. Have to pay a deposit to use iron. Should come and see rooms in Victoria, Australia, even the cheapest rooms are way better than this one.

Good value for money but bring shampoo !

Location couldn't be better for proximity to the river. Staff efficient in their jobs and ordering taxis.

There was water on the floor of the bathroom. Also, water leaking from the pipe underneath the bathroom sink. No hair shampoo and no handwash.

At least you can sort of sleep 3 people.

Location was ok. Could sleep 3 people. Sort of.

Rooms are super small. Beds very, very uncomfortable. Like sleeping on the floor. No doona, only a sheet. Toilet didnt have enough room to sit. Not usable. Pool was worse than the photo suggests. TV couldn't pick up any channels.

Value for money, but Singapore is expensive. Also, they took a $150 deposit when I booked. But when I arrived, I still had to pay full price, and my deposit still hasn't been refunded 6 days later.

It is okay for just sleeping in the hotel

The location is very convenient. It only takes 5-6 mins to walk to the Fort Canning station, which can take the Downtown line and go to the airport directly. It is also near to the Marina Bay, Chinatown.

The hotel is a bit old, and there were lots of ants in our room.

good location. friendly staff. rooms need an update

it’s location

the property could do with an update. socket in room didn’t work, nor the light switches near bedside, noisy fridge and rumbling plumbing. would have been nice to have a breakfast option. but considering how expensive Singapore is, the room rate was reasonable.

Excellent Location which is the attraction Staff were courteous and helpful.

Cost of room was TOO MUCH for a budget hotel Room was too small for couple to stay, otherwise all good . Food not available is a negative point.
